Find a Park or Trail in Montour and Columbia County, PA

Though Montour County is the smallest county in Pennsylvania, we have a great variety of parks and trails for residents and visitors alike. Whether you’re looking for a spot to hike, play tennis, skateboard, swim, bike, or any of dozens of activities, you’re likely to find it at one of the 24 sites throughout the county.  With 36 miles of trails, including everything from gravel rails-to-trails for the whole family at the Hess Recreation Area (including the J. Manley Robbins Trail – the oldest known rail-to-trail in the United States!) to seriously challenging mountain bike singletrack at the Hopewell Park / Danville Borough Farm or the Geisinger Stewardship Forest, you’re sure to find something that interests you.
